The International Research Panel on Educational Technology was created in 2010 as a service of the association EDUTEC, whose management was commissioned to the Educational Technology Group (GTE) of the University of the Balearic Islands (UIB). Its main objective is to provide a blind formalized service of expert judges, who may be selected according to criteria of randomness, suitability, expertise, etc. according to the demands, serving the academic community related to Educational Technology. In this work, the balance of service evolution is presented from its opening until this year 2016, analyzing the timing of applications, quantity, origin and type, number and profile of expert evaluators and other relevant data concerning the evolution of the service. From February 2011 to June 2016, 83 applications were registered, and validation requests have increased over time. We conclude that evolution has been largely positive and that the service provides great value to the academic community linked to Educational Technology
