This research aims to provide information about present and immediate future projection,in relation to the cooperative education programmes in university or also called dualuniversity training (FDU). Research techniques such as the Delphi Method with a selectionof experts based on established criteria and different discussion groups will identify whichare the opportunities, risks and key factors for the evolution of the FDU model. Anotheraim of this research is to determine which professionals are involved in this cooperativeeducation based on the specific competencies in relation to their professional role. Thesecompetencies, in its turn, will be associated with a range of professional functions andactivities. Finally, this research intends to provide the key to structuring the initial andcontinuous learning of professionals involved in the cooperative education in university.
