Résumé

Both information and communication technologies offer a wide range of tools and waysof exchanging and sharing information among students and among them and teachers.This is a study of communication and evaluation experience of one subject of a teachingcareer during the year 2008/09. Students participated in 2 virtual forums which differedbetween them in their value and their topic, but none of them had a final work and theywere based on the process, not on the product. Both virtual forums have been evaluatedin a quantitative and a qualitative way. Results show that this way of evaluation is moreobjective, because thanks to this category system used, messages can be analysed following an objective guideline. Finally, there are more opinion and explanationmessages than other types such as different opinions or conclusions
