In education field, mentoring can have different ways and means depending on level and education systems, fields and resources, people involved, methods and contents dealt with. In field of Higher Education and in accordance with the European Higher Education System, orientation is a transversal issue in academic formation open to Europe and to the World. In this paper, mentoring is understood as a realization of orientation, a strategy with a formation and global nature developed by university teachers aiming at the student¿s orientation along his process of formation and personal realization. When being developed through virtual space of learning, it is e-mentoring. This paper present what can be achieved using Information Communication Technologies in that sense and which aims and strategies can be observed.
