Satisfacción y fuentes de información de los estudiantes de movilidad universitarios

This paper studies the profile of mobility students who attend a Spanish public medium-sized university, the University of Lleida, during the academic years 2012/13 and 2013/14, and it analyzes the assessment made by these students about different university services and about the city that hosts them. Moreover, it tries to know the information sources used by these students before their arrival and the general assessment they make of their stay. This study concludes that mobility students base the decision of choosing a university an not another depending on the studies offered by each university and on recommendations. Before arriving at the host university, they seek information through traditional word-of-mouth of colleagues who have already been to the same university. They also seek information via the Internet, besides trying to contact other mobility students through social networks, especially through the Facebook profile of the universities. The assessment and satisfaction of their stay at University of Lleida is positive, as well as the assessment of the host city that varies by country of origin and genre of the respondent.
