Resumo

This paper aims to study a specific aspect of language contact in the Spanish spoken in Lleida, in particular, language contact phenomena that take place from Catalan to Spanish in the lexical level. In order to do this, we focus on cross-checking data from two different corpus: the PRESEEA-Lérida and the Spanish lexical corpus available in Lleida. After analyzing transfers present in each corpus, we conclude that the number of shared ones is quite low. Likewise, gender and age factors influence the lexical transfer from Catalan to Spanish.
