Résumé

While the rights of children are taken for granted and so is the need for them to receive special protection from the justice system, current compensation schemes fail to meet the specific needs of children who have been victims of crime. It is necessary to analyze the special characteristics of child victimization to design fair and inclusive compensation systems.
