This paper aims to document the use that college students make of the Internet through the analysis of four aspects: the activities carried out and their frequency, their profiles on social networks and the degree of interaction with the contents of the Internet. From the data collected through a questionnaire, detected behaviors are analyzed and four different profiles are defined: the disconnected, the discreet, the disseminator and the creator. These correspond to four different stances taken towards the Internet and its communicative potential.
