The article presents an educational innovation experience in history teaching in Compulsory Secondary Education based on object-based learning and the introduction of historical thinking through the application of historical analysis methods. The main results of its implementation point to high levels of satisfaction on the part of students and teachers, the strengthening of skills and knowledge previously learned and the acquisition of new knowledge about prehistory, all with a perception of enjoyment of the learning process by the students
