Resum

The improvement of coexistence and prevention of bullying is undoubtedly a topic of interest in the context of the Spanish state and also internationally. This communication presents the Scientific-Technical Service for the Improvement of Coexistence that has the mission of offering training and didactic resources to improve coexistence in educational centers. For that, it offers an advisory service to the educational centers of children, primary and secondary in matters of school life, conflict prevention and assertive resolution of them. A positive coexistence environment is the key to the academic performance and well-being of the whole educational community. Emotional Education is the basis for developing emotional competences: (emotional awareness, emotional regulation, emotional autonomy, social competence and competences for life and well-being). And also Emotional Education is the key to resolve conflicts and, above all, prevent them, improving school learning and coexistence in general. Thus, a gamified video game called Happy has been implemented in different educational centers, all located in the Spanish territory. Happy is a tool that helps teachers and educates students' emotions to learn to solve with assertiveness all the daily conflicts that arise with their peer group. Happy improves social cohesion in the classroom and, consequently, throughout the center. This intervention has been complemented by the Peer Tutoring program and a School Mediation program. Before its implementation, members of the Scientific-Technical Service for the Improvement of Coexistence have trained the teaching teams of the different educational centers that participated in the project in terms of emotional competences.
