Resumen
Onomasticon Catalonix es el título de un diccionario etimológico de nombres de lugar y persona, que registra y explica todos los topónimos y antropónimos antiguos y actuales en el ámbito lingüístico catalán. En nuestro artículo, deseamos mostrar la importancia de este trabajo para el estudio de la historia lingüística del castellano y el catalán = Onomasticon Catalonix is the tille of an etymological dictionary of place and person names. It lists and explains etymologicaly all the toponyms and anthroponyms attested in the past or used in the present in the catalan lin-guistic bundle. In our article we attempt to show the great value of this work for the study of the linguistic history of spanish and catalan.
